Thank-you to Nigel GEANY for the translating !!

May 2nd 2000:  It is the best score of this 16nd day. It is on score 61 to 18 that our warriors granted this victory at the house. With 10 tests with 0 (3 of nallet, 2 of Tuni, others for Chabal, Raschi, Giolitti, Coux and Magellan), our warriors rebounded perfectly after their rout the last week against MT de Marsan. It is really the day and the night. The 8 of front is not found yet its liveliness which made to fear it on all the grounds. The hinge was better with the input of Boyet. Behind the beautifull Peclier still  the unfavourable lines with its kicks. Tuni is become again that of last year. Mac Laren ensured its service and Giolitti still has put with superb openings. And back? Davis was superb with legs of fire which made it possible to offer 2 superb tests. One can say that it is all the collective which ensured againsts a formation of Périgueux a little right.

April 8st 2000:  Bravo the small urchin! 65 to 6 better score of this 14nd day. But it was a match with single direction. Our warriors had fun. They is the words of some ones of them. Manpower turned and one saw for the first time evolving/moving Dragnéa on the highest level. 9 tests with 0 several of them splendid: Coux, Tuni, Giolitti, Fischer, Raschi. In short everyone gave pleasure and all dedicate this match to Jean DAUDE who according to the press restored as fast as possible. He must re-enter soon in a center of rehabilitation to Montpellier or in the Lyons area. A good hinge, Péclier which is the inspiration of the play and the ridge-plough, Mac Laren inspired by superb openings, Tuni with a sensational leg movement, Coux a true follé fire, Galon with played balloon as on the defensive level as in the participation in the attacks, Balue-Boyet well organized the play behind one mélée very powerful. Frier trotted himself, Fischer with his large knives with raflé many balls in key. The 5 of front were regaled and Jeff Martin-Culet found his fishing. Now, they will move the 22 in Mont of Marsan. A victory would do much good.

March 26st 2000:  What sadness! 40 to 23 on the grounds castraises. It was a little a rout. After a first half with 100 per hour (23 - 18 at the half-time), very quickly the play was destabilized. The output of Jean DAUDE wounded with the cervicales(il was evacuated on Toulouse in the helicopter), that of cat (CHAZALET) and the rehandling of the first line did much evil. Our warriors did not find any more their feelings. It is a heavy defeat. But the continuation of the championship is not called yet into question. It will be hard to hang the 2nd qualificative place for a direct accession into 1/4 of Finale. Good appointment on April 8 with Rajon vis-a-vis in Racing.

March 20st 2000:  statement of this tournament of the 6 nations? Our international all was with the height but not in large the équipe.   KNELL very suffered just like ex-berjallien Debrosse. On the other hand 11 other international in the other teams shone perfectly. BALUE, CHAZALET, DAUDE and MAGELLAN in France A (victory 31-25). BOYER, MILLOUD, NALLET (1essai) and PECLIER (17pts) in France U (victory 72-10). JAHOUER and NICOUD in France -21 (victory 51-24). STIVAL in the soldiers. Now it is necessary to go à.fond in the championship with displacement to Castres this weekend.

March 8st 2000:  What sadness! However parties on the caps of wheels (10 to 0 after 10 ' of play), our warriors could not resist the return of the brivists who put all their heart for gained this 1/4 of Finale of the Cut of France. 21 to 19: Predre of 2 small points it is rajant but the result is there. I hope that one will not find the méforme end 1999. However, it is a first half of carried out madness of hand of Master whom it carried out and after more nothing except the 5 last minutes and the stops of play. One loses 2 players at the end of the ßt half-time: CHABAL (cervical) and DAVIS (ankle). In more our ridge-ploughs (3 were used loupèrent 5 penalties and Boyet in the stops of play is made counter a drop... by Malafosse.  And here how one however loses a match with the range of our warriors. FISCHER was splendid in its catches of balls, Tuni found its rate/rhythm when it has balloons. Short if one relache not the pressure in 2nd half-time, our warriors would have could continue the beautiful adventure. Now one goes to mayol this weekend without Chabal and Davis even Daudé. That ,will be very hard to gain over there. Go the guy, your supporters are with you. Especially that now, there is nothing any more but the championship with this putting under the tooth! Here the list of the players who were selected in the various teams of France:

France France A Universitaire -21ans
Stéphane GLAS Romain MAGELLAN Olivier MILLOUD Antoine NICOUD
Sébastien CHABAL Jean DAUDE Lionel NALLET JAHOUER
    Benjamin BOYET
    Alexandre PECLIER

March 5st 2000:  Last sunday on February 27, our warriors gained at the house a convincing victory for the continuation of the championship. 46 to 35 vis-a-vis with the B.o. of Blanco. 6 tests with 2 but much of penalty kick what reflects a little the match. There will have to be more rigour for the return match to Mayol vis-a-vis in Toulon, the first match of the phase retour.Cela was played under a sun of spring and having more than 10000 witnesses. The temple of Rajon finds its public. Cheer with the markers of tests: Davis, Tordo, Mac Laren, Péclier, Leflamand and Galon. After this match one found all our international in the tournament. CHABAL was perfect to its output on KB One promises a beautiful success very soon to him and one will certainly re-examine it. Damage for DAUDE which is caught a yellow paperboard on a late tackle that Townsend negotiated well. Beautiful success also for all the others. NALLET, MILLOUD, PECLIER, BOYET, COUX, NICOUD and MAGELLAN. Maintaining it will be Tuesday evening 7 the Mars out of Cut of France with Montferrand against Brive into 1/4 of Finale and the next week in Toulon. Go the small ones make us still and still pleasure.

February 22st 2000: After this second match of the tournament of the 6 Nations where the French were not frankly brilliant, it is necessary to say that 10 Berjalliens were in different the équipes. Stéphane KNELL on the bank from the substitutes did not re-enter on the ground but found its place in the élite. In France A, Jean DAUDE magnifiquement played and it is solide(essais refuse-to see the Team of Saturday). With the reading of the last news, it could be that it is titular for the match against Scotland. Romain MAGELLAN made an appearance at the end of the meeting (72ème minute) and Alexandre CHAZALET remained to him on the bank of the substitutes. Only missed in this group Sebastien CHABAL but which is envisaged with a great future if it knows maîtriser. In University France, 4 representatives: Benjamin BOYET the buteur(12 points), Alexandre PECLIER, splendid and especially Lionel NALLET and Olivier MILLOUD which were very well sides by the press and their entraineurs. In France -21 years, Antoine NICOUD (captain) and Jean-François COUX (1 test) repésenté the club. What in the unit is not so badly 10 players of the CSBJ for 88 (approximately 15%). There is resource in the club. It is hoped that Bernard LAPORTE will look at
a little more on the side of the bourbe and either towards the lords of the Rugby of south-west. The news are very positive and full with hopes for our internationaux. Our Scot were not reproduced on the sheets of match. Now, return to the championship Sunday February 27 vis-a-vis in Biarritz in the temple of RAJON. I will not be there then if somebody can make me the comments, I will put them on line as of my return on March 6.

February 13st 2000: It was the match at the top between unconquered Pau since the beginning of season and our warriors in renewal of form with 3 gained matches. But here is part of lying poker was committed, very hard in front of, a good defense behind and lasting nearly one hour they believed there in this victory and to make fall these palois of which the play ressmble extremely with that of our warriors. Nothing with saying or has to criticize on our warriors. Good defense of Mac Laren and Glas which returns in form. Very good Davis on the candles and large, very large Péclier, best of the 30 on the lawn of the hamlet. In front of vis-a-vis in Torossian always in fault but not often to whistle it was very hard for Nicoud to launch its partners. 13 to the 19 here is score of this chopped part and not of the greatest level compared to than one hoped. Now go vis-a-vis in Biarritz in the temple of Rajon.

February 6st 2000: Après this first match of the tournament of the 6 Nations where our representatives shone except in the great tournament. Seul James Mac LAREN was reproduced on the ground against Italy but not of chance for the Scot. Knell made a superb match. It wants to reconquer its place in the large team. Chabal played the reactors but also marked a test and Péclier of the points. If somebody has infos in connection with international club in the various teams, because I miss some bigrement. Return to the championship Saturday when our warriors move in Pau. The match takes place with 19h30 Saturday. Match very undecided bus PAu always had evil to overcome in residence and our warriors found their liveliness of the beginning of season. Concerning the Cut of France, the CSBJ will face Brive in Clermont-Ferrand 7 the Mars and yes, a little odd date (see the news midol). Here selected club for the various matches of the tournament of the 6 nations: Not in France. For FranceA: DAUDE and KNELL; for France U: BOYET, MILLOUD, NALLET and PECLIER; -21 years: COUX and NICOUD. But also, Mac Laren for Scotland and Mac Kenzie for Scotland A. Bravo with all! One can simply regret the absence of Sebastien CHABAL which bails out 32 days of suspension following its late tackle on Deylaud at the time of the meeting against Agen. One will re-examine it only as from 9 the Mars.

January 31st 2000
It was tough, very tough, but all's well that ends well and this was the case for the "sky-blue and maroons in their Championship win against high-flyer's Agen. The lead changed hands several times in what was to be an enthralling match. Bourgoin had much to thank the steady boot of fly-half Mark McKenzie as he slotted a difficult penalty from wide out and under pressure to take Bourgoin into a 26-25 lead with time up on the clock. This was immediately followed by a Jeff Tordo try under the "sticks", converted by McKenzie well into injury time to secure victory.A try which came from a last resort attack from Agen, deep in their own half. Bourgoin's determined defence saw the ball picked up by winger Laurent Leflamand who the passed to an unmarked Tordo to plunge into the Promised Land.
With a somewhat dubious refereeing display and a bitterly disappointed Agen side, stadium security was called in to escort the referee from the field. Fortunately there were no incidents.
10,000 fans packed into the "temple" Pierre Rajon in what was the first Sunday appearance at home for the local hero's. It brought many a smile to the faces of club official's and players alike, not to mention the supporter's. Well they didn't have long to wait before the stadium was on fire as Bourgoin crossed over for the first try of the match after only 5 mains of play. Newly promoted half-back Antoine Nicoud stepped inside the last Agen defender to score after being relayed by some slick passing by firstly Jeff Martin-Culet then Pascal Peyron. Well done the Front Row. McKenzie was to convert and later add a penalty to give the home side a 9-0 lead after 12 mins of play.
This lead was to be short lived as Agen promptly swept into action and opened their account with a penalty for an offside infringement. Bourgoin's defence finally ceded when after an up and under went wrong and Agen dived onto the loose ball to score. The try was converted 9-9.
After the exit of Agen's Christophe Deylaud through injury, Bourgoin started to take control, especially up front, which allowed the back's to exploit the hole's in the Agen defence. This was no better illustrated than by replacement centre Alex Péclier who replaced flu- ridden Scottish International James McLaren.
Not all was positive as Bourgoin was to play with 14 men for 20 mins as Yellow cards were distributed to lock Jean Daudé and back-row forward Sébastien Chabal. Agen pounded into the local defence but were unable to take advantage of their superior numbers and the Bourgoin defence held.
This was all very encouraging, as the next two encounters against the top two sides in the pool will be difficult matches. Bourgoin travels to Pau to play on the 12th , then receives Serge Blanco's Biarritz side on the 27th of Februaury.

15th and 10th January 2000

Will the losing streak come to an end ? One will know more in 15 days as the "warriors" head firstly to Bordeaux to take on Bégles and then take on Agen at home headed by internationals Benetton and Benazzi.
After a disappointing start to the European adventure (in terms of results), the CSBJ had their first ever win on Irish soil in beating defending European champions Ulster in Belfast, 36 - 27. In an open attacking match with six tries to two, Bourgoin was to finish the Heineken Cup on a high note. The team and club alike, have learnt a lot >from the European experience and will certainly be better prepared and wiser for any future European challenges.
The beginning of the new Millennium started for Bourgoin in much the same way that the old one ended. A classy Llanelli side at Pierre Rajon soundly beat Bourgoin. For the home side, it was their sixth consecutive defeat. All started well with two McKenzie penalties that gave Bourgoin an early lead of 6 points after only five minutes of play. Then Llanelli got going, with two quick converted tries and three penalties that had the locals reeling at half time.
Totally absent in defence and with sloppy use of hard-won ball by the local side, the "Scarlets" took control of the match and never let them get going.
Bourgoin supporters who are more accustomed to victories than crushing defeats at home, were hard on the local side especially when Llanelli moved to 36 - 6 with a quick converted try straight after half time. They started whistling and booing the local boys. Strangely enough, this was to provoke a positive and startling comeback by Bourgoin and for the last twenty minutes of play they totally dominated the visitors. With the decisive entries onto the field of fly half Benjamin Boyet and hooker Jeff Martin-Culet, the local side ran riot and scored three converted tries in magnificent style but all was to be in vain. Another Boyet penalty was not enough to overcome the Welsh side as they ran out winners, 36 - 30.
This was to be the first ever Welsh victory on French soil in the short history of the European Cup and they did this in style.
One must remember the last twenty minutes of rugby produced by Bourgoin and not judge the overall performance by the obvious deficiencies on attack and on defence. An overwhelmed Bourgoin pack was unable to feed quality ball to the classy three-quarters in the likes of Glas, McLaren, Leflamand and Glenn Davis.

Last word to the supporters……..WE'RE BACK!

December 23 1999:

The month of December is full of surprises when it comes to the French championship; and December 1999 was no different. Just 3 days after their extremely physical match against the London Wasps, the "sky blue and maroons" were back on French soil in the Périgourdian capital for a championship fixture against Périgueux. The locals had lost the last 8 matches on the trot and were obviously looking to finish the year on a higher note by bringing down a Heineken Cup side.
It was apparent that Bourgoin was in for a tough time shortly after kick off as the visitor's made far too many mistakes and were unable to hold onto the ball for sustained periods of time. That and the tenacious defence of the local's made things very difficult for the visitor's and very quickly they were chasing the score.
Dominated at scrum time, ball lost in the lineouts and a disorganised back-line meant disaster, and what a disaster. With the final score of 33-19 in favour of Périgueux, Alex Chazalet's side left the region with their tales between their legs. Physical and mental fatigue troubled the player's before the match and unfortunately they were just not up to the match. It was just a case of one too many…
So the 1st half of the season comes to an end, with a mixture of feelings and results. Positively speaking, Bourgoin has already qualified for the 1/4 finals of the French Cup and has won 5 out 7 of their league games. On the other hand, all hopes of qualification in the European Cup have "flown out the window".
Merry Christmas to all and here's to an awesome year 2000.

December 19 1999:

It was one of Bourgoin's last chances for a 1/4 final place in the Heineken Cup. A win was necessary at Loftus Road against the "high flying" London Wasps. On a cold but glorious day, the two teams set upon each other right from the first whistle and the local's raced to a 13-0 lead in as many minutes of play. Bourgoin fought back strongly with a Stéphan Glas try and a Mark McKenzie penalty to keep the pressure on and trailed by little at the half-time pause. This was a match in which the visitor's took it to the opposition and regularly threatened to score, only to be forced into mistakes by the well- drilled and disciplined Wasps side. Their incapacity to grab try- scoring occasions was to be fatal as the Wasps clawed their way back into Bourgoin territory. Initially through the boot of Kenny Logan, with 3 penalties, then two well- constructed tries, the Wasps took control, leaving the visitor's to chase after the score.
One thing is sure, the intensity of the Heineken Cup fixture's is a big step up for Bourgoin but never did the visitor's look out of their depth. In fact, Bourgoin created more occasions than the Wasps but were unable to capitalise. This was the major difference between the two sides and Wasps ran out 37-20 winners.
Next match is in 3 days, which will be very delicate as the physical input from the player's in this match was enormous.

********************************************************

**** On December 12, 1999: Depities and depressed, here is the state of our warriors after this meeting vis-a-vis with the wasps of London. Hard very hard, 3rd defeat including 2 at the house. That made much. Where is the evil? The hinge and the line of attack. They, in front of they were very strong and were bored for not marked points that our warriors gave them almost readily and always or almost vis-a-vis with the posts. The hope of qualification flies away especially àprès the victory of Lianelli vis-a-vis in Ulster in Ireland. That it it passed. Many faults of hand, the balloons lost on the regroupings, the attacks of through and not of face, the players not in the best day and then still and still of the problems of incomprehensible arbitration. The president of the referees of France rises once more against the Anglais(article arbitration on this subject in the local press). Did the doubt seize the players? A hinge not carrying out the good choices, of the balloons to playfoot whereas they had to be played hand and conversely. That to say players: behind Davis a correct match but with lacks of clearness surout atthe end carried out. GLAS always had two cupboards on him when it received the balle(des not whistled off-sides), TUNI non-existent and awkward, Mac LAREN one of best the yesterday evening did not know to continue its openings, LEFLAMAND was the man of the match with revivals of any beauty. If the CSBJ had gained that gràce with him would have. MAC KENZIE heated letrès and the very bad one with BALUE, they suffered from their opposite. In front of the pack is always also good with an excellent 3rd line, RASCHI, CHAZALET worked very well and also and especially CHABAL. I repeat it a good whole that one. Beautiful catches of DAUDE and NALLET in spite of balloons lost for both. MAGELLAN and TORDO started again without stop and MILLOUD made a superb match, present in all the sectors. Superb mélée in spite of the power adversary with one unrolling fatal on more than 50 Mr. Bref all that does not have is enough. A lack of realism, clearness and a lack of intelligence for conclûre. It will be necessary to charter the services of a psychologist. The return match next Sunday will be hard. It also will be necessary to think championship the 22 in déplacment in Périgueux. Go, it is necessary to wish them good luck and which it finds   .

**** On December 5 1999: La demolished is there but our warriors do not have demerity vis-a-vis with a Montferrandaise team in full euphoria. Damage but a defeat at the house does not have anything good for the continuation of the competitions. Especially after the defeat with Lianelli and next Saturday will be vis-a-vis in Wasps. Hard Hard!! It was a match of any beauty, very long phases of play and beautiful flights. That that is on a side like other. But with this play, the ASM was better, thanks also to the boot of Merceron. A metronome that one. Boyet does not have demerity either. That to say our players. In front of, they did not defend well with Chabal hyper justified - a good whole that one - Tordo always has in remttre. On the other hand the hinge and the three-quarter line missed inspiration. Davis frightened us on several occasions while attacking as of the line of goal. Un test of the flame on a key penalty. Short damage for our warriors but which beautiful match, in the line of the cut of Europe. Good appointment Saturday 17h in Pierre Rajon for the match of cut of Europe vis-a-vis in Wasps. It will be necessary to be wary and staff will have job to give everyone in the path of the victory.

**** On November 28, 1999: Quel damage! our warriors drank the Welsh bubble! 29-10 hard this defeat especially after the match of the last week. Good it is true that no French club gained on this ground fetish but from there lose at this point there, it is hard! It will be necessary to re-examine the strategy of European displacements. I could not say many things. Separately to have listened to the radio and to have read the local press, our warriors were not as well as possible of their form. Miss inspiration of cohesion and realism. To listen to Stéphane Glas, one of best on the stadium, one could have made something here. In short separate Knell, the performances are not numerous. One will note Frier, Tordo and Davis. All the others are largely under their usual quality. Wound also for Péclier at the 13th minute. The friend of the " cat "(Chazalet, the captain) must be seized again quickly. Next Saturday, we will push with them in Pierre Rajon vis-a-vis in Montferrand in theory. And yes, a small day of championship of Ci from there.

Thank-you at James Green for the followed information:
This was the first of several crunch matches that Llanelli will have  over the next few weeks if they are to progress in this years European Cup, Wasps having won in Ulster last night had made this a must win game for the Scarlets. It didn't take long for Llanelli to open their account with a Stephen  Jones penalty after just 3 minutes, followed five minutes later by a second. It was a hard fought first quarter, both sides testing each others defence and it was 19 minutes into the game before it really got   going and when it did it got going in real style. It was a Bourgoin penalty that started a very impressive 12 minutes or  so from the Scarlets. Straight from the kick off after the penalty Llanelli were on the attack firstly the forwards took the ball on in midfield and gained second phase possession that set the backs away on the right, the ball went through several pairs of hands before Neil Boobyer cleverly kicked to the   corner and following up on his own kick he won the race to score the touchdown. From far out on the right Stephen Jones narrowly missed the conversion. Just two minutes later Wayne Proctor scored the Scarlets second try  after excellent work by Dafydd James, Stephen Jones converting. Llanelli were now well on top pressing their advantage home to good  effect that ended with Chris Wyatt charging a full 25 metres to score a great try, the French  appeared not to have done their homework and hung back from tackling Chris expecting him to look for a faster man to pass to, a mistake that cost the French a third Llanelli try.
The French were now 20 points behind and came back at the Scarlets with  some ferocious attacks. Their try came after a scuffle that had been going on beween Phil Booth   and his opposite number, turned in to a fairly large mass brawl which ended with the yellow card being shown to the two players who were deemed to have started the trouble. As a result Bourgoin were unjustly awarded a penalty which they kicked to the corner and from the resulting line out flanker, Julien Frier, crossed after several attempts, replacement outside half Mark McKenzie added a conversion to  his earlier penalty. On the stroke of half time Llanelli increased their lead to 26-10 with a third Stephen Jones penalty. What a first half.

The second half had a lot to live up to and quite frankly it failed miserable, the only score was a Stephen Jones penalty 15 minutes into the half. Llanelli couldn't find the space they had in the first period which allowed the French back in to the game but the Llanelli defence stood  firm and denied the French on several occasions, Matt Cardey making some fine try saving tackles. A combination of mistakes poor refereeing and typical French forward  play turned the game into a very stop-go affair, everyone, the crowd, players and officials were getting  more and more frustrated as thehalf went on and were all glad to see the final whistle blown. Scott Quinnell had an excellent game on return from injury. His  carrying of the ball must put him in line for 'Man of the Match' A great result for the Scarlets, retaining their 100% home record  against the French in this competition but make no mistake it will be a totally different game in January when Llanelli travel to France.

**** On November 21, 1999: What a match! Our warriors offered the leaving champion of Europe: Ulster. It was only beautiful and very beautiful play. The first 20 minutes only one were not driven out cross of the strikers. Péclier ensuring 9 items against 12 its adversary. But the turning of the match arrived with a " test-penalty " of Balue on a splendid catch of ball of Daudé relayed by Raschi. What one can say of this match it is that our warriors did not tremble vis-a-vis with very re-installed Celts. A very large blow of cap with mélée which made them doubt several times. That will be the maid forecasts for the return match and also the other matches of this cut. It is thanks to the 5 of front that the victory is there. Superb test of Stéphane Glas enters the poles after 6 mélées on the Irish line of goal. A superb opening of Mac Laren which fails of little. All the players were superb. I will not return to the 5 of front but what they have fact is splendid! The 3èmes with Raschi and Frier very gave. Balue is a genuine metronome.       Perhaps would be necessary that the future trainer of the team of France thinks of him. Péclier ensured these kicks. Behind Knell and Mac Laren went down to ground the tons from Irish by a superb defense. Leflamand with its legs of fire was also illustrated. Tuni had very little balloon and could not express itself correctly. And that to say of Glenn Davis the new back: and well its service with the height of the hopes, was well placed and splendid kicks. The tape with chat(Chazalet) is superbe!! the public (7000) formidably liked in spite of the arctic cold which reigned in the cauldron.  But at the end of the match with a good hot wine been used for the refreshment bar of the supporters the cold was very quickly forgotten. Appointment with Lianelli next Saturday. PS: If somebody goes
to the match could it make me a return on the meeting. I would not fail to diffuse it. Thank you Other information: Bohu left to continue its studies, Andrew Gibbs is turned over in its native land. Hopes its.

**** On November 15, 1999: Our warriors gained only one point vis-a-vis with the crocodiles of the marshes of the Kauffmann stage in Nimes. A water flood without intérruption. Short step really a beautiful match. Only the victory will be retained. 11/12. Péclier ensured the victory as of his by 4 penalties (100% of success). He was with Raschi, Leflamand and Tuni, the men of the match. Finally nothing brilliant dixit the local press. I had not made displacement like many berjalliens (500 people in the public). Match to be forgotten. Highly Saturday with the match against the leaving champion of Europe. Not less than that, Ulster will know the rigours of the play berjalliens and guarantee on a beautiful success as of ours. One could not better hope for them.

**** On November 8, 1999: What a match! Very good at the beginning (21-0), then one hour of pure approximate before seizing again itself to finish 49 - 36. The place in 1/4 is assured but that it was odd. Initially very little world. I think that the cut was there for quelquechose. In short good individualités(Tuni, Magellan, LeFlamand). What to retain before the beginning of the cut of Europe: not large thing. Our warriors reassured
themselves. There remains a match of championship in Nimes on the same ground as Sunday. The best of the meeting will be perhaps: Mac Laren, Péclier, Balue, Frier and Raschi. Wounded Giolitti is much better. RECRUIT: The back néo-zélendais Glenn Davies arrived. He will take part in the training course of Montpellier with his new fellow-members. Good luck with the substitute of Geany!

**** On November 3, 1999: A little delay in the update the site but I was on leave. Good, Bourgoin made the best operation of these hens of stopping while being the only one to recover the point of no-claims bonus starting from 3 tests marked by meeting. 6 points moreover. That enables him to be first of hen. So not according to the local press it was a beautiful meeting with the first 30 minutes which were difficult but after, to mark 6 tests with a team of mamouths(référence with Fouroux), I think that this it perhaps that a good predicts for the continuation. I do not know the hard copy of the eighth but souhaitont to our warriors a beautiful success in this competition.

**** On October 24, 1999: What a match! Like that one in redemande. Cheer with the 31 actors of the ground, even the referee was good... Good our warriors are now ensured to play the 1/8 of finale of the cut of France. 35 / 21 such was the score. But that it was hard, especially in the 20 first minutes(3-11). Besides this first time of play, the remainder was only one treat. Balue opening magnifiquement and of times of very long play (thank you Mr. the referee) which lead to beautiful tests. All was almost perfect. The fronts fronts of the loads impressionnates of Daudé, Jeff Martin-Culet admirable in his revivals with the short-nap cloth of mélée. Splendid Chazalet and Chabal, all two authors of a test each one. Balue distributed the play admirably well backwards which was frightening: Péclier who improves of match in match, Galon in spite of some faults drew his pin from the play. And then the artist, a class it is Laurent Giolitti. That to also say of Leflamand which counters Corrihons on the transformation of a test and which comes to finish its race with ground with the referee (It is for the anedocte). Finally it was a very intense match and of great quality. During this match, at the time of the ceremonies, the CSBJ signed an agreement with clubs known as of mass. This agreement bears the name of Power 15.

**** On October 17, 1999: In the first return match of the cut of France, our warriors could only incline themselves vis-a-vis at a re-installed French stage. Our warriors nevertheless marked 3 tests what makes them a no-claims bonus. Just like the last week. A defeat 35 - 25 but which does not call into question their qualification for the continuation of this competition. Beautiful services of the Chazalet captain but also of all. In short I can trust only the radio comments (93.9) which retransmitted the match on line. Good the next week, it is the derby return with the FCG to Pierre Rajon. It y will have world.

**** On October 11, 1999: Cut of continuous France! in spite of the world cup. And the 3rd day for our warriors showed a new victory outside vis-a-vis with the R.c.f 32 to 20. Surprising vitality in ßt half-time, they led the hard life to the men of Fouroux. A pack surpuissant and of the splendid backs. Cheer with Péclier, Coux, Giolitti. The hinge with Balue which goes better and better. And in front: a splendid collective and Raschi captain of this cut of France which accumulates the tests. Already 6 with its meter! They are in an upward spiral. Cheer with all and go the next week, still in Paris but there it will be vis-a-vis at the French Stage. The matches at the house will be the following weeks with a shock, the return match vis-a-vis in Grenoble then vis-a-vis with the R.c.f

**** On October 4, 1999: World cup obliges, one makes the cut of France. In the Isèrois derby, our warriors kept to them supprématie with difficulty but they were nevertheless the Masters of the play especially at the end of the part. 25 to 19, they were started again in this competition. 3 tests (Nallet, Frier and Péclier) with the key against 1 in Grenoble. Beautiful phases of play with especially a team of young people (Chabal, Morel, Coux). Raschi captain for this match took along its troop beating drum. Pack always such a solid with the 3 musketeers of front (Magellan, Martin-Culet, Milloud).

**** 25 Septembre 1999: With this trève world, the late matches of the 4th day were made in hen of our warriors. Pau joined them in the unconquered last after 4 days. They are thus at the head, our warriors having the advantage with the difference in points. Good if not the elite B after a match without much scale vis-a-vis at Toulouse (9/9) last Sunday was essential vis-a-vis in Grenoble with art and the manner (23/10). For the match of the Cut of France Saturday 19h30 in Grenoble, the subscribers have their place but it is necessary to go to seek a countermark with the shop for the others, of the tickets are on sale also with the shop. Schedules of the shop of Monday at Thursday with 12h00. How do they make, those which can go there only the evening?

**** On September 12, 1999: The CSBJ remains the only unconquered club after 4 matches. The chances of the calendar decided some thus. Vis-a-vis in Mont of Marsan, the collective was found and the score is there: 33 to 15. It would have been more severe if the referee had not expelled on red paperboard Julien Frier, author of an excellent match. Vis-a-vis with unmethodical adversaries, our well defended warriors sesont. 2 tests came to conclude their services. One of Milloud on a catch of ball of Nallet in key penalty and one of excellent Giolitti after a splendid race of Geany. All the collective is to be quoted. It is not large Geany but always there. A point of excellence in Giolitti, Péclier author of penalties and of drops(2) was very good. The hinge with Balue was disturbed by the 3rd unfavourable line. In front of, splendid services of Chabal, Frier before its expulsion but also of Nallet and the Mohr young person. It holds the strapping man upright. The ßt line resisted. In short, much of collective which would have been even more splendid if the arbitration also often did not stop the play.

**** On September 5, 1999: After 3 days of championship, already 9 garnered points. Toulon and Castres were hard to beat at the house. Both wanted some and the first displacement in Paris vis-a-vis in Racing c.f. that was hard too. Many paperboards and vis-a-vis with the dinosaurs Fouroux the part was not easy. No the players left the batch. Cheer with Chabal which was very percussion as well as the ßt ligne(les 3 M). Behind that defended well. Go RDV in Rajon Saturday vis-a-vis to Mont of Marsan.

**** On August 30, 1999: It set out again! Good a defeat out of Cut of France and in the stops of plays but 2 victories in 2 matches in the championship. It was a little hard! The Toulonnais young people are not champions of France juniors for nothing. They had aggressiveness and one to play their go-all until the end. Vis-a-vis in Castres it is similar our warriors were made fear but the victory is there too. All the results will be on line as soon as possible. I returned of vacation. The best on these 3 matches was the 3rd line, Leflamand, Geany, Péclier and especially Giolitti for the backs. In front of a good pack with the 3 M (Magellan, Milloud and Martin-Culet). It nevertheless misses our international Glas and Mac Laren and also Tuni which did not re-enter of vacation.

**** On August 12, 1999: As of Friday 13 with 20h, the season sets out again for the club. One starts with 3 matches at the house. The first will be against the French Stage for the Cut of France then the 2 following Saturday, there will be 2 matches of championship: Toulon 21 and Castrated 28. Much play for these ends of holidays (me I leave). Last Saturday the CSBJ had made entered friendly match an ' eux'. Apparement the forces are well there and in form. On the other hand there no will have been friendly matches against other teams of the elite. Too bad. For the trainer, the team seems much more stable and strong compared to the last year. It will miss Glas and Mac Laren Nos two international. Chazalet, Tordo and Tuni will have just re-entered, I think that they will play Friday. The club has also some international in the young people. Ortéga and Garnier for the school ones were selected for the round in Argnetine from the 12 to August 24 and also Vallet and Pesteil in the -1åns for a training course in Toulouse.

**** 04 Août 1999: The springtide sets out again! With beginning the ßt day of the cut of France Friday 13 Aôut 20h at the stage Pierre Rajon.Ce will be followed of 2 other matches to the house against Toulon the 21 and Will be castrated 28 on behalf of the Championship. The drive began again seriously. Everyone re-entered put aside Fidjiens (Tuni and Nagasaukula) Tordo, our international (Chazalet and Boyet) which them will arrive in one week. Well-sure it misses also both other international club which them are reserved for the world cup to knowing Glas and Mac Laren. Seamed is completely trustful in this group where everyone benefitted from these 7 weeks of cut to take weight but also speed. It decided to play à.fond on the 3 tables which is offered to the club. Many young people resulting from the hopes will integrate team 1 like Chabal, Rey inter alia. Other information: The season tickets are on sale as from July 23 with the club-house with Bourgoin. 2 types of subscriptions are proposed: 1 Championnat(11 m) + Cut of France (3 m) = of 1200Frs with 700Frs and 2 Championship + Cut of France + Cut of Europe (3 m) = of 1500Frs with 850Frs. The subscription makes it possible to support the club free outside and also to attend the matches of the hopes. Last information: At the time of his press conference, the president of the club gave some precise details: Bourgoin must shown that it is a large team with 5 finales including only one gained in 3 years; more professionnalismeCreation of a stage from 20 to 25000 places or refitting of Pierre Rajon(vote to the general Council of Isère); 35 players with the club with 2 players, but not of names, of the southern hemisphere which would come to the club but after the cut from world; always discussions with OL(Lyon foot) and the ASVEL (Villeurbanne tennis shoe) but also the ASSE(St-Etienne foot).

*** 28 Juin 1999: One connait almost all the calendar of the next season for the club. The championship and also cut of Europe. Our valorous warriors will find crowned teams: Ulster(Irlande), Waps(Angleterre) and Lianelli(Pays of Wales). That large pieces! Pierre Rajon is likely to be hot very hot of mid-November at at the end of January. To find all the dates on the csbjcale page. Other information: the recruits are in point of test card: one 2nd line Australian and a New Zealand back. But still nothing precis. They possèderaient both a European passport and thus évoulueraient with Tuni. Other information is that the line of the 3/4 strong risk to be very deprived at the beginning of championship. Why: Knell in team of France, Tuni with the Fiji, Mac Laren with Scotland Galon with Italy but also it is not a Giolitti joke (it would have ascents transalpines) are likely to miss very extremely. All this information is from the local press.

**** On June 23, 1999: One continues the preparation of the next season. Retrouvertoutes the meetings of the club (dates and adversaries) the CSBJ starts with 2 matches in the house, Toulon and Castres. Other great news, Daudé resigned for 3 years with the club after having reflected well. And then dixit the local press, 2 large foreign fish with European passport would arrive. One would know some more at the weekend.

**** On June 16, 1999: Transfers in the club. Many players resigned for one year or two to see more. On the departure, one will note: Of course Cécillon but also Pétringer, Ricco, Nibelle, Fischer, Sanchez. For the moment nothing sure for some Arrives at the club Christophe Vernet pillar of Bédarrides 24 years, Martin d' Aubenas. Here is for the moment.
